Other courses I teach at University of the West Indies are.... here

Class Notes for this Photography Course are.... here

Additional Notes: 1. This is an INTERACTIVE course.... and you learn by doing.... on Wednesday's we spend some time looking at the photos you have taken during the practical.... this is facilitated using a projector and screen and to avoid losing the shooting data, please bring the flash card from your camera (or the whole camera) to the Wednesday class.... it is best if you have 2 flash cards (if you will be using your camera for other purposes during the course) 2. You get out of this course what you put in... but you WILL be taking better photos after the course IF you are very serious about your photography.... some of my past students have gone on to careers as professional photographers. 3. You need a digital camera capable of MANUAL control of shutter speed, aperture and focus to benefit fully from this course.... and I encourage you to practice in between classes.... your camera must become very familiar to you.... and the only way to achieve this is with constant practice and use.

The course includes teaching instruction (Wednesday) and practical FIELD TRIPS.....
students will participate in actual photography during field trips spanning a wide cross section of
photographic opportunity.
